POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY and BREACH OF UNDERTAKING

Cornwall, Ont. – Wesley Gray, 60, of No Fixed Address was arrested on the 12th of February, 2010 for several charges relating to break and enters.  He was bound by an Undertaking with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  It is alleged that the broke into garages and stole property.  A search warrant for his residence was executed and property from the break and enters was recovered.  He was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Undertaking.  He was held in custody until court on the 12th of February, 2010.

PUBLIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, Ont. – Matthew Maheu, 19 and Kayleigh Charron, 18, both of Cornwall were arrested on the 12th of February, 2010 for Public Mischief.  It is alleged that they attended police headquarters on the 26th of January, 2010 and reported that they were victims of a robbery.  Investigation by police later revealed that the couple had fabricated the incident.  They were arrested and released to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

THREATS and BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – Bonnie Marie Bryan, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on the 12th of February, 2010 for Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm.  She was bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  It is alleged that on the 12th of February, 2010 she threatened to cause bodily harm to another female.  She was arrested for 1 count of Utter Threats and 1 count of Breach of Probation.  She was held in custody until court the following day.

ASSAULT POLICE and BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – John Douglas Brian Mellon, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on the 12th of February, 2010.  He was bound by two separate Probation Orders with conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to Abstain from the purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol.  It is alleged that police attended his residence to investigate a matter and located him in possession of a weapon (jagged stick).  It is further alleged that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time. The male pointed the weapon in an assaultive manner towards the officers and was arrested for Assault Police Officer and 2 counts of Breach of Probation.  He was later released to appear in court on the 02nd of March, 2010 to answer to the charges.

DRUGS and BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – A 17 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 12th of February, 2010 for an alcohol related incident.  He was bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and not to consume alcohol.  It is alleged that he was under the influence of alcohol when police attended a Liquor Licence complaint at a Cornwall residence.  A search of the youth uncovered a small quantity of drugs, believed to be marijuana.  He was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and 2 counts of Breach of Probation.  He was released to appear in court on the 11th of March, 2010 to answer to these charges.  His name is not being released due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER

Cornwall, Ont. – Pascal Labonte, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on the 13th of February, 2010 following a Liquor Licence arrest.  It is alleged that the male struck a police officer while being arrested for a Liquor Licence offence.  He was arrested for Assault a Peace Officer and later released to appear in court at a later date.  The officer did not require medical attention at the time of the incident.

ASSAULT, THREATS, CRUELTY TO ANIMALS and BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE

Cornwall, Ont. – A 58 year –old Cornwall male was arrested on the 12th of February, 2010 for a domestic related incident.  He was bound by a Recognizance Order with conditions to not associate with a specific female, not to be away from his residence during a specific time period and to Abstain from the possession or consumption of drugs.  It is alleged that he was under the influence of drugs and away from his residence when he assaulted the female.  It is further alleged that he threatened her and kicked her dog in the face.  He was arrested for Assault, Threats to Cause Bodily Harm, Cruelty to Animals and 3 counts of Breach of Recognizance.  He was held in custody until court on the following day.  His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, Ont.- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred sometime between the 9th of February and the 12th at a Gulf Street residence.  Suspect(s) entered the residence through a broken window next to the front porch door and unlocked the front door.  Suspect(s) stole some cash and jewellery.  If you have any information regarding this break and enter, please contact the service by dialing (613) 932-2110.

BREAK AND ENTER and ASSAULT

Cornwall, Ont. – A 41 year-old Cornwall male was arrested in the early hours of February 13th, 2010 for a domestic related incident.  It is alleged that he broke into his ex-girlfriends’ residence by kicking in the door and assaulted a male in that residence.  He was arrested for Break and Enter and Assault and held in custody until court the following day.  His name is not being released as it may identify the victims in this incident.

Cornwall, Ont. – A 21 year-old Cornwall male was arrested in the early hours of February 13th, 2010.  It is alleged that he was in the company of another male when they broke into a female’s residence.  It is further alleged that he assaulted a male in that residence.  The male did not require medical attention at the time of the incident.  He was arrested for Break and Enter and Assault and held for court on the 16th of February, 2010 to answer to the charges.  His name is not being released as it may identify the victims in this incident.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, Ont. – Jamie David Leblanc, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on the strength of two outstanding warrants.  It is alleged that he was operating his motor vehicle when police conducted a routine traffic stop.  Investigation revealed that the two warrants existed, one for failing to appear in court on the 17th of November, 2009 and the other for 3 counts of Breach of Undertaking.  He was arrested and later released to appear in court at a later date.

WARRANT and BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – Zachary Roger Davison-Orr, 18, of Ottawa was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his sentence or disposition and for breaches to his conditions.  The male was bound by a Probation Order with condition to Not attend a specific business location and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  It is alleged that on the 12th of February, 2010 he was located at that business location.  It is further alleged that the outstanding warrant was valid when police located the male walking outside a Cornwall apartment building.  He was arrested and held in custody until court on the 14th of February, 2010.

DRUGS

Cornwall, Ont. – Chad Edward Niles, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on the 13th of February, 2010 for a drug related offence.  It is alleged that police attended a noise complaint at an east end residence when the male was located in the possession of drugs, believed to be marijuana.  He was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and released to appear in court on the 09th of March, 2010 to answer to the charge.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

Cornwall, Ont. – Andrew Laplante, 20, of Williamstown was arrested on the 13th of February, 2010 for Failing to attend for fingerprints.  It is alleged that upon release on the 08th of January, 2010 he was advised to attend for his fingerprints on the 27th of January.  The male failed to do so and turned himself into police.  He was charged with Fail to Attend for Prints and released to appear in court on the 20th of April, 2010.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, USE FIREARM IN THE COMMISSION OF AN OFFENCE, POINTING A FIREARM and POSSESSION OF WEAPONS DANGEROUS

Cornwall, Ont. – Kelly Thompson, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on the 14th of February, 2010 for several offences relating to an incident which occurred on the 13th of February, 2010.  It is alleged that the male was outside the city limits with another male at which time he assaulted him by punching him and kicking him.  It is further alleged that he pointed a BB gun to the victim’s head.  Police further allege that the male assaulted him again with a closed fist and kicked him which resulted in an injury to the victim’s leg.  The male required medical attention for his injuries.  The male was arrested the following morning for Aggravated Assault, Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Use Firearms in the Commission of an Offence, Pointing a Firearm and Possession of Weapons Dangerous.  The male was held in custody until court later that morning.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF and BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – A 35 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 14th of February, 2010 for a domestic related incident.  He was bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  The male engaged in an argument with his girlfriend at which time she locked herself in the bathroom.  It is alleged that the male forcefully opened the door to gain access and damaged the frame.  He was arrested for Domestic Mischief and 1 count of Breach of Probation.  He was held in custody until court on the 16th of February, 2010.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, Ont. – Calvin George Hope, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on the 15th of February, 2010 on the strength of two outstanding warrants.  It is alleged that he was operating a motor vehicle when police conducted a routine traffic stop.  Investigation revealed that two outstanding warrants existed, one for Mischief Under and the other for Failing to Attend court on the 08th of December, 2009.  He was arrested on the strength of the two warrants and held in custody until court on the 16th of February, 2010.

ASSAULT and MISCHIEF

Cornwall, Ont. – A 26 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 15th of February, 2010 for a domestic related incident.  It is alleged that he assaulted his girlfriend by striking her in the stomach and pinning her up against the wall.  She did not require medical attention at the time of the incident.  It is further alleged that he caused damage to the residence by punching holes in the wall.  He was arrested for Assault and Domestic Mischief and held in custody until court on the 16th of February, 2010 to answer to these charges.  His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE, BREACH OF PROBATION AND OSBTRUCT POLICE

Cornwall, Ont. – Lori Ann McConkey, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on the 16th of February, 2010 for several offences.  She was bound by a Recognizance Order with conditions to Not be away from her residence except in the presence of two specific persons or for employment, Not to being found in the company of anyone known to her to use or deal in drugs, Not to associate with persons known to have a criminal record and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  She was further bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  It is alleged that on the 11th of February, 2010 when police attended a Cornwall residence to investigate an unrelated matter, she provided a false identification.   The occupants of that residence are known by police to use drugs and have criminal records.   It is further alleged that on the 16th of February, 2010 she was operating a motor vehicle when police conducted a routine traffic stop and observed that she was not in the company of the two specified females nor was she away from her residence for employment purposes.   She was arrested for 5 counts of Breach of Recognizance, 2 counts of Breach of Probation and 1 count of Obstruct Police.  She was held in custody until court on the 16th of February, 2010.
