83 year old Jean Alexander is being brought out of retirement to play legendary Coronation Street character Hilda Ogden to help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the long time British Soap. LINK
As the show battles its rival East Enders for ratings supremacy no stones are going unturned in treating viewers. Rumored appearances so far include Noel Gallagher of the band Oasis as well as the return of Murderous Tracy Barlow played by Kate Ford.
We here in Canada are months behind the UK episodes. It should be interesting to see what other surprises the producers of the long time program can put together.
