The curse of Carey Price continues. Last night les Boys lost to the lowly Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 in regulation time putting them in 8th place in the conference and jeopardizing their hopes for the play offs this season.
There’s not much to say. They jumped out early and strong, but couldn’t put the puck in the back of the net. The third period they were either out of gas or demoralized as Carolina out shot them. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and hope that someone figures out which end is up by the next game,
Calgary kept their Flame burning for another day by edging Phoenix 2-1. While mathematically still in the odds are not on their side. Could a Sutter Clean be coming up at season’s end?
