Canadiens Stomped by Caps in Montreal – Golf time nears for Les Boys – Cornwall Ontario – April 22, 2010

Cornwall ON – The Price was not right for the Montreal Canadiens as they fell to the Washington Capitals  6-3  in Montreal.   The Washington Capitals now lead the series 3 games to 1.

The game started out in a spirited manor until mid way through the third period when Washington erupted for two goals.   The Montreal goalie then was penalized for whipping the puck at the celebrating Capitals players.

It wasn’t pretty, but at the end of the day Washington just had too many weapons for Montreal.  Alex Ovechkin and Mike Knuble each had two goals for the Caps.
