Cornwall ON – The Habs did a lot of things right against the defending Stanley Cup champions; unfortunately not enough of them as they lost to the Penguins 6-3 in Pittsburgh. Syd the Kid didn’t slay them, but the Penguins Powerplay did.
It seems that if Jaroslav Halak doesn’t face 40 shots the Habs have difficulties. Last night they took the game to the Penguins, as they had to , but the puck found the back of their own net more often.
PK Subban led off the scoring in the first period but Pittsburgh came back and took the lead which they never gave up.
My favorite Hab Mike Cammallieri and Brian Gionta also scored for Montreal. Carey Price came in for Montreal after the 5th goal.
Game two shortly.
