Summerstown, ON  – Doug Boeckh (organizer of the Alexandria Terry Fox Run for the last 10 years) and Josée Sauvé (organizer of the Cornwall Terry Fox Run for the last 5 years), collaborated on painting the Summerstown Rock at the Glen Road & Summerstown Road intersection.

This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run – an epic run by a remarkable young man that Canadians are likely never to forget. Hundreds of cities across Ontario will participate in the Terry Fox Run this year, including Cornwall & Alexandria.

The Terry Fox Run will be held on Sunday, September 19th.

Alexandria (Island Park) from Noon to 2 PM
1,2,5 and 10 km routes (Run Cycle or Walk) & also a 50 km cycle route

  1. I would like to come and walk in the run,I have no money collected as it was a last minute decision,but I have made many donations to this via internet. I have a friend dying of cancer and to just come and walk would be an honor on her behalf.Is there an entrance fee and if so how much ?
