Cornwall ON – Green Party support according to the latest EKOS poll done for the CBC shows support for the Elizabeth May led party up over 10% rising from 10.4 to 11.6 Nationally.

The Conservatives edged down while the Liberals held their own.

Here in SD&SG support is also on the rise with party memberships up nearly 100% from last year.

With Ms. Bernadette Clement, the Liberal hopeful coming in first place in the Municipal election, and a strong NDP Candidate in Ms Darlene Jalbert could the drums be beating for incumbent Guy Lauzon?

I fear that with three candidates to spread the left-leaning votes around, Guy might just squeak back in. We all need to get together and pick one so we don’t get stuck with him again. I don’t care who, just pick one and let me know.

I hear people crowing about the polls… Remember this; Brian Mulroney got a majority of the seats in the House of Commons with 19% of the popular vote. That’s a fact.
