Cornwall ON – Brian Lynch, President of the Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry Provincial NDP Riding Association, has announced that the local provincial NDP riding association will be holding a breakfast on Saturday November 20 at 8 a.m. at the Navy Veterans Association, 30 6th St., East, Cornwall.
Lynch stated: “We are very pleased that we will have two guest speakers at the breakfast, namely, Paul Miller, M.P.P. for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek and Michael Prue, M.P.P. for Beaches- East York.”
Miller is the provincial NDP critic for Pensions, WSIB, Tourism, Recreation and Sport, Government Services, and Seniors. Prue is the provincial NDP critic for Research and Innovation, Community and Social Services, Disabilities, and Municipal Affairs.
Everyone is invited to attend the NDP breakfast.
Lynch explained: “This will be an excellent opportunity for local residents to meet the two NDP MPPs and to learn more about Ontario NDP policies and initiatives to sustain and create good jobs in the new green economy, to improve pensions, to end the hospital cutbacks, to reduce poverty, to provide greater assistance to agriculture and rural communities, and to remove the HST from home electricity bills.”
Lynch stated: “The NDP is the party that consistently puts people first and that has the plans to make life more affordable for all Ontarians, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet.”
