Children’s Christmas Pageant held at Martintown Ontario – Story and Photo by Kathy Coffey

Martintown ON – St Andrews United Church in Martintown held their Christmas service this Sunday morning. The highlight of the service was the Children’s pageant.
.
Cathy Kinloch, Art Buckland and Patti Carson should be commended for their work with the fifteen small children, ranging in age from about 2 to 8
.
Cathy wrote the script to ensure each child participated and Art and Patty played grandpa and grandma guiding the children through a discussion of the meaning of Christmas and prompting them for their lines.
.
The children sang Christmas carols led by Luanne Doyle. After the service a pot luck lunch was served and Santa made an appearance although I heard from a reliable source that it was not the real Santa but one of his helpers as he was too busy to attend.
