Cornwall ON – Hollywood has lost another of its brightest lights as Elizabeth Taylor as passed away at the age of 79 of congestive heart failure.
Her long career started as a child actress making her way through to adult siren and star of films like Giant; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and many others. She was nominated 5 times for Oscar, winning twice for Butterfield 8 and Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
She also starred along side future husband Richard Burton in Antony and Cleopatra and Taming of the Shrew. Ms Taylor was married 8 times in her life.
Ms Taylor eventually retired from active filming and threw her support her Jewellry and Scent lines as well as her tireless work to help find a cure and raise money for AIDS.
