Cornwall ON – Artfest is an add on to Waterfest in Cornwall Ontario. The second year festival was a pleasant and peaceful visit on a Saturday afternoon. It was a lovely day to stroll along the waterfront. While a lot of the attention was on the dragon boat races. I even found two small paintings that I purchased!
Sara Murphy had some of her photos on display and for sale. The thing about new artists I find is that some of them try and price their works at rates that don’t inspire first purchases. Many of the artists at Artfest were very reasonably priced and encouraged our support of them. Ms Murphy had some really nice framed pix at some lovely values.

Hopefully Waterfest will be bigger next year in its 3rd season. Artfest was a lovely addition!

A beautiful day it was indeed. There was a lot of activity on the waterfront…many people were swimming and boating and enjoying the various activities going on in the downtown core. The community was bustling with activity, fun and family.
