ASSAULT & MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- A 34 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 10th of January, 2012. It is alleged that she attended her neighbours residence, got into an altercation when she assaulted a 19 year-old resident and caused damaged to the property. The victim was not injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with assault and mischief under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 2nd of February, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
DOMESTIC BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 39 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 10th of January, 2012. He was bound by a recognizance with the condition of not associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 35 year-old ex-girlfriend. It is alleged that on the 10th of January, 2012, he texted his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT & BREACHES’
Cornwall, ON- A 22 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 10th of January, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with relevant conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and not to associate, contact or have any communication directly or indirectly with his 44 year-old girlfriend. He was also bound by an undertaking with relevant condition of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 10th of January, 2012, he got into an altercation with his girlfriend and assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with domestic assault, 4 counts of breach of probation and 1 counts of breach of undertaking.
ASSAULT WITH WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- A 67 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 10th of January, 2012. It is alleged that he got into an altercation with his 41 year-old son, uttered threat on the phone and in person as well as hitting him with a pool cue. The victim was not injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with assault with a weapon and 2 counts of utter death threats. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
ASSAULT & ASSAULT WITH WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- A 47 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 11th of January, 2012. It is alleged that since January 2011, he has assaulted his 85 year-old mother on 4 separate occasions, of which one was with an ashtray. The victim was not injured during the incidents. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 3 counts of assault and 1 counts of assault with a weapon. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not release as it would identify the victim.

Cornwall, ON- A 23 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 11th of January, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 11th of January, 2012, he got into an altercation with his 20 year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with domestic assault and breach of probation order. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
THEFT & ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- Tyler Jodoin, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of January, 2012. It is alleged that on the 10th of January, 2012 he attended a 36 year-old female acquaintance residence and removed property. The female attempted to stop him however he assaulted her. The victim was not injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with theft under $5000.00 and assault. He was released to appear in court on the 6th of March, 2012.
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigation a break and enter that occurred on the 11th of January, 2012 at a Leonard Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by a basement window and proceeded to ransack the residence.
