CFN – Best of Luck to the CCVS Students competing in the Provincial Skills Competition in Kitchener, Waterloo next week.

The all ‘Ontario Skills Competition’ will be held April 30th Until May 2nd at the RIM Centre in Waterloo Ontario. Adam Crites will be competing in the Cabinet making competition, Samantha Burtenshaw will be competing in the Aesthetics competition, and Sheila Pawis will be competing in the Hair Styling competition. Adam, Samantha and Sheila won GOLD in the Eastern Ontario Competition held at St. Lawrence College on Feb. 28th, 2012.

Other medal winners from CCVS in the Eastern Ontario competition were Alex Poirier -Silver Medal winner Culinary Arts, Bailey Lauzon Silver Medal winner in Hairstyling and Sheila Pawis Silver Silver Medal winner in Aesthetics.

The competitors who won Gold in Hair Styling and Aesthetics recieved a $1500.00 Bursary, and the Silver medal winners received a $ 1000.00 Bursary from Elegance College.
