CFN– Tragedy struck The Cornwall Square shopping centre as a single person fell from the top of the parking garage. The 50 ish male landed near the Kastner’s clothing store after reportedly leaping from the top of the parking garage. The incident occurred at approximately 7 PM – it has not been confirmed if he jumped or not.
He was taken away in an ambulance with no visible signs of life.
No other injuries to other persons were reported.
We are awaiting updates from the Cornwall Police & Special Investigation Unit , and will share them as they are available.

I am so sad to hear this,
I just heard on CBC that the SIU will be investigating the death of the 64 year old man who died.
Why is the SIU investigating? Is someone from the Cornwall police somehow involved?
Me too Reg…I was wondering the same thing,May he rest in peace & my sympathy to his family & friends,too often a permanent solution is sough for a temporary problem
