WARRANT, POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- Jessie Beauchamps-Gorman, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to not to be away from my residence between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am and abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely or being found anyplace where alcohol is sold save restaurants. It is alleged that on August 2nd, 2012 he was out passed his curfew while intoxicated as well as in possession of a stolen bicycle. Further police investigation revealed that a bench warrant was issued after he failed to attend court on July 24th, 2012. He was located and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He was held in custody until court later that day.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Marisa Lupien, 34 of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2012. It is alleged that on July 23rd, 2012 she failed to attend court and warrant was issued. She was located and held in custody until court August 7th, 2012.
Cornwall, ON- Hamidah, Ahmad, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on August 6th, 2012. It is alleged that on April 24th, 2012 she failed to attend court and a warrant was issued. She was located and released to appear in court on September 4th, 2012.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 4th, 2012. The male was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that between August 2nd and 3rd, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 31-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her and prevented her from leaving the residence. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Forcible Confinement and Breach of Probation Order. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER 80, DANGEROUS DRIVING & OBSTRUCT POLICE
Cornwall, ON- Kayla Boyd, 21 of Cornwall was arrested shortly after 9:15 p.m. on August 4th, 2012. It is alleged that she was operating a motor vehicle on McConnell Avenue at a high rate of speed while under the influence of alcohol and getting into a collision. She was charged with Impaired Operation and upon her arrested resisted police. She was charged with Dangerous Driving and Obstruct Police. She was transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over. 80. She was released to appear in court on August 14th, 2012.
IMPAIRED OPERATION & OVER 80
Cornwall, ON- Kamaladin Hewaz, 22 of Greenfield Park, Quebec, was arrested shortly after 9:30 p.m. on August 4th, 2012. It is alleged that he was operating a motor vehicle on McConnell Avenue while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over 80. He was released to appear in court on August 16th, 2012.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on August 5th, 2012. The youth was bound by an Undertaking with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on August 4th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 16-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her and damaged property. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. Further investigation revealed that the victim was also assaulted in late May 2012. The male youth was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Assault, Mischief under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on August 23th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim and as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- Justin Pawis-Lepage, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on August 5th, 2012. He was bound by two Probation Orders with the conditions on keep the peace and be of good behaviour and abstain from the purchase/possession/
Cornwall, ON- Richard Sawatis, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on August 5th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not to attend within 50 meters of the residence of a certain person. It is alleged that on August 5th, 2012 he was found to be within 50 meters of the said residence by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order and released to appear in court on August 28th, 2012.
Cornwall, ON- Kristopher Lepage, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on August 6th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to not to associate with a certain female. It is alleged that on August 6th, 2012 he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the company of the said female. He was charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.
BREAK & ENTER ARREST
Cornwall, ON- Charles Fiddler, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on August 6th, 2012. It is alleged that on August 6th, 2012 he gained entry to a business on Amelia Street and removed property. He was found by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division and provided a false name. Further investigation revealed that he also entered in a Tollgate Street business and removed property. He was charged with 2 counts of Break & Enter and Obstruct Police. He was held in custody until court the following day.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- A 45-year-old Cornwall male was arrested on August 6th, 2012. It is alleged that on August 4th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 24-year-old girlfriend when he threw a toaster at her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault with a Weapon and released to appear in court on September 4th, 2012. His name was not released as it may identify the victim in this incident.
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred between August 3rd and 5th, 2012 at a Brookdale Avenue residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by prying open a window and caused damaged to several items of furniture. (North Glengarry) – On 06Aug12, at approximately 9:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 34, North Glengarry Township.
The stop revealed that the 41yr old male driver (Daniel BRUNET of Alexandria, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear 05Sept12 in Alexandria court.
(South Stormont) –On 05Aug12, at approximately 9:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.
Officers located the vehicle on Moulinette road where the 55yr old male driver (Hunter FAIRHEAD of Grenville, QC) was found to be operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear 28Aug12 in Cornwall court.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(North Dundas) – On 03Aug12, at approximately 4:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 31, North Dundas Township.
The investigation revealed that a female’s 43yr old ex-boyfriend had attended her residence and removed various items of property.
The male was arrested and faces charges of:
– Break, Enter a place-commit indictable offence
– Theft Over $5,000 of a Motor vehicle
– Theft Under
– Mischief Under $5,000
– Breach of Probation Order
He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
THEFT
(South Glengarry) – On 04Aug2, at approximately 7:30am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to check a vehicle parked on the North Service Road, South Glengarry Township.
The check revealed that the vehicle (Nissan Altima) was reported stolen from the city of Ottawa. The 41yr old male occupant of the vehicle (Richard MARACLE of Point – Au – Tremble, QC) was arrested and faces a charge of:
– Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
(South Glengarry) – On 05Aug12, at approximately 10:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft on Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township.
The investigation revealed that a 39yr old male (Clint FRAPPIER of Casselman, On) attended a garage on a property on Boundary Road and attempted to remove an amount of scrap metal, when the male was confronted by a person on the property he drove off.
Police were provided with a description and licence plate number of a vehicle which enabled them to identify the male.
He was arrested and faces a charge of:

RIDE SPOTCHECK RESULTS IN MAN CHARGED
(North Dundas ) – On August 02, 2012 at approximately 7:15pm, SD&G OPP officers were conducting Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) spot-checks at the intersection of County Roads 1 & 43.
While checking a pick-up truck, it was observed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and had an open container (of alcohol) in the vehicle. He identified himself verbally under a false name. Further investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen from the City of Ottawa. Police also located the following inside the vehicle; a pellet handgun, a quantity of suspected hashish and tools,
Joey EDGERTON (34) of North Grenville was arrested and is charged with several offences, including;
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content
– Personation
– Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

WARRANT NETS AMMUNITION
(South Glengarry) – On August 02, 2012, SD&G OPP officers executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a residence on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. The search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of ammunition from the home.

– Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited to do so

DOMESTIC INCIDENT RESULTS IN CHARGES
(South Glengarry) – On August 02, 2012 at approximately 10:45pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on High Street in the Village of Lancaster. A verbal altercation between a male and his ex-spouse resulted in the female being assaulted. He was also in contravention of conditions set from a previous incident.
The 28year old male from North Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with Undertaking (2 counts)
