THEFT & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Cornwall youth and an 18-year-old Cornwall female were arrested on August 9th, 2012. The 18-year-old female was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to reside with surety, abide by the rules of that residence, not to be away from my residence between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. except as follows; as approved by surety; Not to possess any incendiary devices including but not limited to matches, lighters or accelerant; and not to enter upon the premises of a certain address. It is alleged that on August 9th, 2012 they attended a 18-year-old acquaintance’s residence and removed a debit card from the property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The 17-year-old youth was charged with Theft under $5000 and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2012. The 18-year-old female was charged with 4 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. Their names were not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON- Jamie Boileau, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on August 7th, 2012 under the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged that on March 21st, 2012 he breached his Recognizance conditions. On March 26th, 2012 he failed to attend court and breached his conditions. On April 13th, 2012 he breached his Probation Order conditions and other Recognizance conditions. On June 22nd, 2012 a warrant of Committal on Conviction was issued. He was located and held in custody until court the following day.
Cornwall, ON- Shawn Watters, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on August 7th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding Warrant of Committal. He was located and held in custody until court the following day.
DOMESTIC BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 7th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the condition of no contact with his 44-year-old girlfriend. It is alleged that on August 3rd , 2012 he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the company of the female. He turned himself in and was held in and was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the female.
FRAUD UNDER
Cornwall, ON- Derek Kennedy, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on August 7th, 2012. It is alleged that between October 2010 and January 2012 he failed to report earnings to a government agency. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Fraud under $5000 and released to appear in court on September 4th, 2012.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 50-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 7th, 2012. It is alleged that on August 7th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 42-year-old ex-wife when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and released to appear in court on September 11th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
Cornwall, ON- A 24-year-old Moose Creek man was arrested on August 7th, 2012. It is alleged that on August 3rd and 4th , 2012 he got into an altercation with his 23-year0old ex-girlfriend when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 3 count of Domestic Assault and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it may identify the victim in this incident.
