DOMESTIC ASSAULT & MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 26th, 2013. It is alleged that on April 26th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 28-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her, chocked her and caused damaged to property. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Overcoming Resistance and Mischief. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it may identify the victim.
DOMESTIC BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 36-year-old Cornwall female was arrested on April 26th, 2013. She was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions of not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with her 26-year-old ex-common-law husband and not to attend within 100 meters of his place of residence, employment, school, place of worship or any place where he may be at. It is alleged that on April 20th, 2013 she had contact with the said person. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- Eric Benoit, 55 of Cornwall was arrested on April 26th, 2013. It is alleged that he got into an altercation with a 46-year-old neighbouring resident when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Assault and released to appear in court on May 14th, 2013.
IMPAIRED OPERATION & OVER 80
Cornwall, ON- Tyler Lalonde, 21 of Lunenburg was arrested shortly before 2:00 am on April 27th, 2013. It is alleged that he was found operating a motor vehicle on First Street while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle and Over 80. He was released to appear in court on May 9th, 2013.
ASSAULT & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- David Campbell, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on April 27th, 2013. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that shortly after midnight on April 24th, 2013, he assaulted a 23-year-old male acquaintance. This victim was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries. He was charged with Assault and Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on June 4th, 2013.
PUBLIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- William Turner, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on April 27th, 2013. It is alleged that on April 27th, 2013 he contacted 9-1-1 several times and provided false information. Police investigated the incident and charged him with Public Mischief. He was released to appear in court on May 21st, 2013.
THREATS
Cornwall, ON- Ashley Proulx, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on April 17th, 2013. It i alleged that on April 26th, 2013 she uttered a death threat to a 14-year-old female youth. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Utter a Death Threat and released to appear in court on May 21st, 2013.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREATS
Cornwall, ON- A 51-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 28th, 2013. It is alleged that on April 28th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 49-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. A short time later, he got into a second altercation with her and assaulted her again. He also threaten to harm her and to cause damage to property. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Assault, Utter Threats to cause death and Utter Threats to cause damage to property. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

(North Dundas) –On 26Apr13, at approximately 7:15pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on County Road 7, North Dundas Township.
The investigation revealed that a 41yr old male (Jody WATSON of Vernon, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear 07May13 in Morrisburg Court.
(South Dundas) – On 28Apr13, at approximately 8:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on County Road 18, South Dundas Township.
The investigation revealed that a 46yr old male (David LENNOX of South Dundas) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
– Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana
He is scheduled to appear 07May13 in Morrisburg Court.
MISCHIEF
(South Dundas) – On 28Apr13, at approximately 02:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a mischief on Dundas St. South Dundas Township.
The investigation revealed that two males had damaged numerous vehicles in a parking lot as well as breaking various spot lights at a local business.
The males were later identified and arrested, they face charges of:

The 21yr old males (Riley NICOLAASSEN and Kyle Kenneth GALLINGER from South Dundas) are scheduled to appear 11Jun13 in Morrisburg court.
BREACHED CONDITIONS
(North Stormont) – On 28Apr13, at approximately 7:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a male breaching his release conditions in Crysler, On.
The investigation revealed that a 19yr old male had attended a residence where a female lived that he was not to have any contact with.
The male was arrested and faces charges of:
– Fail to Comply – Undertaking before Officer in Charge x2
He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
