ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 8th, 2013 and charged with assault. It is alleged that between the dates of December 18th, 2012 and December 24th, 2012 while at his residence the man was involved in a verbal argument with his 23-year-old girlfriend when he applied pressure to her throat while she was laying down. Police were later contacted to investigate an unrelated matter and established grounds for the man’s arrest. On November 8th, 2013 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was then released with a future court date. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
Cornwall, ON – Clayton Delorme, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on November 9th, 2013 and charged with three counts of assault for having punched a 44-year-old man in the head and later kicking him in the head. He also punched a 50-year-old man once. Clayton Delorme was also charged with resisting police. It is alleged that on November 9th, 2013 the man was involved in a verbal argument when he punched another man in the head then left the area only to return moments later and kick the same man in the head and punch another man in the head. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation police located the man who fled the scene in a taxi cab, took him into custody and charged him accordingly. While at the police station the man resisted police and refused to cooperate while being lodged. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT POLICE
Cornwall, ON – Shelly Michaud, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on November 8th, 2013 and charged with two counts of assault police. It is alleged that on November 8th, 2013 police were dispatched to a disturbance on Hamilton Crescent and while conducting an investigation police were speaking with an intoxicated woman when she punched an officer in the chest. The woman was taken into custody and during the arrest the woman mule kicked another officer in the thigh. She was charged accordingly and later released with a future court date.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Steven Doychack, 41 of Cornwall was arrested on November 8th, 2013 and charged with breaching his recognizance for having been where alcohol was being sold. It is alleged that on November 8th, 2013 the man was spotted by a uniformed officer at the beer store. An investigation then ensued. During their investigation police attended the man’s residence, took him into custody and charged him accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Emily Pollock, 34 of Winchester was arrested on November 8th, 2013 and charged with breaching her probation order for failing to keep the peace and not following house rules. She was also charged with breaching a recognizance for being within the city of Cornwall without surety and for being away from her residence. On November 8th, 2013 police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 8th, 2013 during their investigation police located the female at a Duncan Street address in Cornwall, took her into custody and charged her accordingly. She was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Mark Tyo, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on November 9th, 2013 and charged with breaching a recognizance for having consumed alcohol. It is alleged that on November 9th, 2013 police were called to a Second Street west address as a taxi driver was having issues with his fare who was refusing to pay. Upon police arrival an odor of alcohol was detected and the man who was found to be under the influence of alcohol was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Gerard Cook, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on November 11th, 2013 and charged with breaching his probation for having consumed alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that the man who attempted to purchase alcohol at a local store was refused and police were contacted given his level of intoxication. Police spotted the man and during their investigation observed him to be intoxicated. The man was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM
Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 11th, 2013 and charged with assault cause bodily harm. It is alleged that on November 11th, 2013 while at his 45-year-old girlfriend’s residence during an argument the man struck the woman causing her to lose a tooth. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody and charged accordingly. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
DOMESTIC
Cornwall, ON – A 35 year old Cornwall man was arrested on November 8, 2013. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to not communicate with his ex common-law wife and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 7, 2013, he attempted to communicate with her by text and by phone. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. The man was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation. He was released to appear in court on December 10, 2013. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
DOMESTICS
Cornwall, ON – A 20 year old Cornwall woman was arrested on November 6, 2013. It is alleged that her 28 year old estranged boyfriend attended her residence to visit with their nine month old child. They engaged in a verbal argument over parenting issues which escalated into the woman hitting the man in the face and upper body area. He did not suffer any injuries. Police were contacted and an investigaiton was conducted. The woman was charged with Assault. She was released to appear in court on December 10, 2013.
Cornwall, ON – A 37 year old Cornwall man was arrested on November 6, 2013. It is alleged that he threatened his 34 year old ex-girlfriend to return his computer. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. The man was charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm. He was released to appear in court on December 10, 2013.
THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Tyler Bissonnette, age 19, of Cornwall, was arrested on November 6, 2013. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 6, 2013, he phoned a Boundary Road business and left a voice recorded message with a complaint and threatened to blow up the establishment. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. He was charged with Uttering Threats to Damage or Destroy Property and Breach of Probation. He was released to appear in court on December 17, 2013.
