Ontario Provincial Police News Portal [STORMONT DUNDAS and GLENGARRY] Collision Closes Highway 2014-01-27
(North Glengarry) – SD&G OPP officers are currently at the scene of a multi – vehicle collision on Highway 417, North Glengarry Township.
Early stages of the investigation indicate that due to adverse weather conditions a number of tractor trailers, vehicles and a Voyageur bus were involved in a collision that has closed the highway east of McCrimmon road.
Two passengers on the bus were transported to hospital by ambulance. There were a number of other minor injuries reported to drivers and passengers involved in the collision.
A section of Highway 417 (both eastbound and westbound) remains closed as emergency crews attend to the scene.
