CFN– On Saturday, January 25, 2014, members of the Toronto Drug Squad – Major Cocaine Section concluded an investigation into an alleged cocaine distribution network.
Two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants were executed during the early morning hours of Saturday, January 25, 2014, at a condominium in the Sherway Gardens Road and The Queensway area, and at an apartment in the Weston Road and Sheppard Avenue West area.
It is alleged that:
– an estimated 25 kilograms of cocaine and 24 kilograms of phenacetin were seized from both locations
– the estimated street value of the drugs seized is $3 million
Bernard Brissett, 40, of Brampton, is charged with:
1. three counts of Possession for the Purpose Cocaine
2. Possession for the Purpose Marhiuana
3. two counts of Possession of Proceeds
4. Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
Everald Brissett, 44, of Toronto, is charged with:
1. Possession for the Purpose Cocaine
2. Possession of Proceeds
3. Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
Ervin Malcolm, 38, of Mississauga, is charged with:
1. Possession for the Purpose Cocaine
2. two counts of Possession of Proceeds
3. Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
Gary Morris, 46, of Brampton, is charged with:
1. two counts of Possession for the purpose Cocaine
They all appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, January 25, 2014.
