CFN – Dr. Louise McNaughton-Filion, Regional Supervising Coroner for East Region, Ottawa Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Gregory Jonathan Ingram.
Mr. Ingram, age 33, died on June 24, 2009, at the Ottawa General Hospital following transfer from the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Ingram’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
Details regarding the date, location and presiding coroner will be announced when the information becomes available.

5 years too late for sure. what they did to my cousin was uncalled for. I hope they all get whats coming to them
If the law requires an inquest be held why does it take 5 years to call the inquest?
