“This investigation highlights the pervasiveness of Internet-based dangers of child luring, sexual exploitation and abuse. Children, teens and parents also have a responsibility to educate themselves to ensure their Internet and social networking experiences can be as rewarding as they want it to be and as safe as it needs to be. Because every child matters…everywhere.” – Inspector Scott NAYLOR, Manager – OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit

Others Charged
These ppl take IDs of kids crossing through everyday, sick pigs!!
Tina just because one person has issues, sick perverted issues. That doesn’t mean you lump everyone together, there are good officers that I’ve seen working there, that have helped me out in the past. One bad apple doesn’t justify bad mouthing the bunch!
Jim I would agree with you. I’ve only had one or two issues at this border crossing in over 11 years of living here and that includes the last two having a gf in the US who crosses weekly. The field agents tend to do a pretty good job. Now whoever is in charge and disrespected CFN viewers, who make up the largest audience at this border crossing by not inviting us to their recent event is another story…
The list of numerous ppl charged with various charges as an outcome of this project range in stature, background and ages one is a principle of a HS in Toronto, 3 are unnamed due to being under the age of 18. (According to 2 well known news channels)
It is a tragedy for the children involved, and I feel no empathy for the persons charged , however I feel for the ppl around them that now having to deal with the fall out, but to paint an entire group the same as the 60 ppl charged due to one person that worked there is harsh and not right.
Bob
I do believe the Toronto man is a janitor NOT a principal

Sixty people, including a caretaker at Toronto’s Northern Secondary School
I have a near and dear nephew who works on an RCMP child exploitation unit in another province. He tells me that they are just scratching the surface when it comes to busting these perverts. If they had twice the resources, they’d be busting twice the number of these creeps. They try to concentrate on the cases where kids are in imminent danger, but no way they can catch them all. Frustrating and heartbreaking work for sure. In the meantime, there are almost unlimited resources for the so called “war on drugs”.
The Seaway News has a spread that exploits a child yet at the same time has stories titled,
— Are our Children Safe at School? —
— Sex Offenders living next door! —
Now back to the article, imagine getting your 13 year old neighbor to makeup and dress like a woman, then take pictures and sell them.
Of course if Seaway News and her parents are on board that should make it OKay.
Now browse UTube and see the videos, and of course at least one predator with a request for a bit more. And the high school logo helps these guys.
As for a career? What future is there when adult models are being replaced by 13 year olds.
This Todd Lihou and Hugo Rodrigues (local Cornwall paper has the same story) are dolts!
