Why a new sex curriculum for Ontario?
From listening to the talking points of most Canadian media outlets these days, we would surmise that Ontario is long overdue for an upgrade in what is taught about sex. In this day of smart phones, internet, etc, the youth of Ontario need to be protected. The question is, from whom?
Of course, the advocates of this upgrade are all for educating us ignorant masses, but they are also behind doing away with all parental input in such an important topic. How did the public education system become our children’s co-parents, guardians, and role models? Certainly not many parents consented to such a coup?
“Why a new sex curriculum for Ontario?” Two reasons are given. First, the curriculum is outdated. Second, we need the upgrade to meet the modern young person’s world and life style.
The sexual revolution begun in the sixties has now come to full age. All moral restraints of society – especially parents and religion – have been forced to the side lines where they are now content to be spectators in this abandonment of purity. We are reverting back to pre-Christian times. Secular humanism – another name for paganism and heathenism – has won the day. Or has it?
This abandonment to sexual promiscuity and sexual perversion is a direct result of God giving over a whole generation to “vile affections” (Romans 1:24-28). What God declares to be holy, pure, and wholesome in the Word of God – marriage between a man and a woman – now has been rejected by the “experts.” These were the ones who were smoking the dope and experiencing open sex back in the sixties, who are now teaching this whole new generation that sexual abstinence and purity until marriage is outdated and needs to go into the trash can. God often judges sin with more sin! What society calls freedom, the Bible calls God abandoning a society so they will ripen for judgment.
Who is leading this abandonment to sexual promiscuity and sexual perversion? The experts, educators, religious apostates, politicians, homosexuals, and pedophiles. A short history lesson: Long ago, the Greeks believed the greatest and highest from of love was a man’s love for other younger men. All the noted philosophers of that age, Greek and Roman, were pedophiles. They would not have called themselves such, but that’s what we would call them today. Is that where we are headed? I would absolutely say so.
Why a new sex education curriculum for Ontario? So the sexual revolution can have its birth right back, and for the grooming of future victims!

Pastor Tom this is old news from the McGuinty liberals and strongly advocated and approved by the Wynn liberals. The concept that there are six distinct sexes within the frame work of human sexuality has been accepted endorsed and enacted into the public educational system. This was done for the public good by the liberal party of Ontario to answer your question of who?
There is a solution for those parents who object to their children being exposed to “non Christian” concepts in the public school system.
It’s called home schooling.
And all this “new” education keeps administrators and program designers busy. We can’t have them sitting still for too long now, can we?
Furtz – It is only a matter of time when homeschooling will be outlawed. Everyone will be forced to conform to the “New Age” norm of sexuality. Maybe in your mind set that is a good thing, but not so for parents rights, responsibilities, and convictions – whether based on religion or one’s own moral world view. It is interesting to see how many Grandparents are up in arms against Premier Wynne’s sex ed program.
Just like what David wrote -“This was done for the public good by the liberal party of Ontario…”. For the good of the whole, all must conform, or be eliminated. Isn’t that what they did back in Nazi Germany? The powers that be are using the same game book.
I have never said nor advocated the government nor the church to be in charge of what goes on in the bedroom between a man and a women. The church is to govern the conscience as to moral issues, and the government is to keep the peace. What “coming out of the closet” as done is that now the government is mandating what is allowed and what is so called wholesome for all i.e. intruding into the bed room. But now according to the “game book”, the government is taking over the whole family. Didn’t Hitler said something like “give me the youth, and I will have the future”. The Ontario education system has repeatedly declared -“we are co-parents”. It won’t be long when they will be saying with the force of the government – “we are the sole parents”.
And of course the sexual perverts love it so, and want open, and unrestrained opportunities to rape, sodomize, I mean to have consensual sex – among 1st graders! Is that your idea of the good for the whole? David? Futz? One thing I know about the radical, militant agenda of the “elite class” is that they will not stop until all is compliant. Welcome to the New World Order!
Rom 1:24 “So God let these people go their own way. They did what they wanted to do, and their filthy thoughts made them do shameful things with their bodies’.
I can understand how home-schooling would be considered problematic if the curriculum consists of fairy tales.
Not sure if the ad for holy trinity is on your site or just on my screen but it sure is worth a laugh..Start your journey and become a catholic graduate..
Does that mean your one step closer to becoming Pope?
Sorry got NO use for any religion..just look how Ottawa U student took up radical Islam next thing he is deader than a doornail after blowing himself up for ISIL
John Maguire told students in University of Ottawa’s multi-faith prayer room that he would be going away, but he was uncertain about whether he was coming back.
Unlike others i point out Islam is a religion of peace perverted by people looking for POWER
One of Canada’s best reporters Kathy Gannon (AP),who was shot in Afghanistan, says these fights are about power for the Leaders not religion
If people took the time to ask a Muslim who has left their Islamic country of origin why they left they would be enlightened. Speaking from a political perspective they would tell you that control (power) was the reason to immigrate somewhere, anywhere else. Those politically in tune feel that the corruption of the religious ruling leadership will not change in their lifetime. That to be a political activist in a Muslim nation is a pending death sentence. Most come here and elsewhere to seek what we have, freedom.
The sad part is that we do not appreciate what they seek. How many immigrants fail to exercise their right to vote? How many are as apathetic as most natural born Canadians?
You see David freedom is not some place you can go to obtain it. Of course we need to define what freedom is. The founding fathers of the U.S.A. fought and won the battle against the oppression of government and religion in 1776. “Liberty of conscience” is a Christian principle that the Pilgrims came to this New World to exercise – religious freedom. To worship God according to the dictates of one’s conscience as based upon the Holy Scriptures – the Bible.
The founding fathers also saw the need to make sure that no governmental established religion was ever allowed to be in place over them again.
Amendment I -“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances”.
Of course the secular humanist sees in this amendment only “separation of church and state”, while they – the evolutionist establish paganism as the national, state, and local religion. Secular humanism – where man is god, is in fact violating the 1st Amendment. I understand that the Constitution is for the U.S.A. first of all, but we can understand and learn a lot from the founding father’s struggle against the “powers that be” in their day!
Our case in Canada: What Great Britain did over the Colonies is what Premier Wynne is doing – forcing her religion, her amorality upon the masses as the rule of conduct for all. And she is using the government to enforce this ungodliness. This is not the promotion of true freedom, not at all. It is right out oppression! A freedom that is dictated by a few – “the elite, the experts”(the radicals?). Multiculturalism replaced by a dictatorial type of socialism. Socialism always leads to Communism -the New World Order.
But when it comes to Muslim seeking after freedom, from homeland oppressors, by so called radicals, Muslims by default, according to their religion that they embrace is in fact an oppressor, and a removal of all “religious freedom”. I am aware that many Muslims tell us there is no “compulsion in religion”, but that is true in word only. What is practice is for all the world to see!
This being so, why than run to the “free world” based upon “Liberty of Conscience”? In time, by default, freedom in the Muslim mind must be replaced by Sharia. To what is left of the Christian free world, Sharia can never equate to freedom, even when Muslims say it is for your own good.
What is the difference between what Premier Wynne is doing and what the average, moderate Muslim is seeking to establish in the West? Establish their own definition of freedom. God has defined freedom thus –
“And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”(John 8:35-36).
“Give me liberty or give me death” – makes no sense to a Muslim, nor does it make any sense to the masses of Ontarians, who voted in this Liberal party in!
Pastor Tom you appear to confuse religion with the politics of religion and fact with interpretation. This makes it very difficult to sort through your statements and attach any cohesiveness to your thought process
Just like I wrote David -“Give me liberty or give me death” – makes no sense to a Muslim, nor does it make any sense to the masses of Ontarians, who voted in this Liberal party!.
David – in the Christian mind set there is no difference between -“religion with the politics of religion”. We do not divide up the sacred from the secular – all is sacred. The bottom line of the Christian’s life is summed up this way – “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God”(1Co 10:31).
Under a government, even a government that supports a particular religion opposed to Christianity, the Christian must maintain “Liberty of Conscience” as it is based upon the Holy Bible. The government can do what it wants but it can not bind the Christian conscience – kill him or her they may, but the Christian will still be worshiping God as the Scriptures require from the heart, with full acceptance from God as their Heavenly Father, and that all because of the atonement accomplished by God’s Son.
Under Sharia there can never be “Liberty of Conscience” and religious freedom – it won’t allow it. Sharia regulates the outward life, but can never change the heart of the sinner, nor accomplish favor with God. That is why a Christian will willingly obey the “powers that be” – the law of the land, but when the law violates the Word of God and one’s conscience, the Christian will choose to suffer before giving up obeying their Lord and Savior – The Lord Jesus Christ.
David, once you accept the truth that all problems known to humanity were caused by a talking snake in the Garden of Eden, and our planet Earth is six thousand years old, and the “Tribulation” is almost upon us, you will understand what Newton is talking about.
Furtz – next time you ought to at least give us chapter and verse for all this theology you are learning. Keep up the good work! See this is how you do it:
“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus”(2Ti 3:14-15).
Furtz it is generally accepted I believe by theologians that the old testament is a grand story but certainly not a definitive history. It is grand story telling to explain the possibility of the origins of man and his world. Looking at the various religions of the world Judaism, Christianity and the Muslims the simple truth is that a significant number if not a clear majority of humans accept the tale as a possibility. A small number of extremists would want you to believe that it is a factual account. Believe in what you want.
gets frustrating……………..
David – “A small number of extremists would want you to believe that it is a factual account”. Talk about a right out lie. David the majority of the God fearing Christians all across the world believe this “factual account” that is called the Holy Scriptures -from Genesis to Revelation!
Hugger, just go with The Flying Spaghetti Monster, and all will be well.
Well lets see here Pastor Tom… the Catholics certainly don’t (ask a priest) nor do the Anglicans (ask a minister). So tell me Pastor Tom, after subtracting these groups of Christians, who is left other than people that take the bible to be a literal truth rather than representative of what might have transpired (story telling)?
Oh and if I take you literally Pastor Tom, I fear not God.
Please keep in mind Pastor Tom I am not critical of what you choose to accept as an absolute truth.
If we both accept that God created man and that he bestowed upon us the ability to reason and choose for ourselves then it becomes rather obvious how different opinions can be formed. Since an opinion is neither right or wrong but rather a matter of perspective I conclude that our perspectives differ, hence different conclusions.
Peace and understanding be with you Pastor Tom.
So David, as the Admin. would want us to stay on topic. Do you support 1st graders learning about “sex”. What should be done, if any thing, to stop such destruction of the minds of our children?
P.s. we are free agents, but because of the entrance of sin by the fall of Adam – our noble minds once so bright in the garden are now pure darkness! God concludes that we are “fools” without new life in Christ.
“This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles (the world without the new birth in Christ) walk, in the vanity of their mind, having been darkened in understanding, being estranged from the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; who, having become callous, gave themselves over to debauchery, for the working of uncleanness with utmost greediness. But you did not thus learn Christ, Eph 4:17-20
Silence is golden – ha, David?
There are undeniable forces that direct our actions. The need for food, shelter and procreation. Procreation is a natural and necessary function for the survival of our species. As such sex education is a purposeful and natural discussion that each of us requires. Multiculturalism does not lend itself to teaching all aspects of sexuality in the public school system primarily due to cultural conflicts. Do I believe that minds are being destroyed? No. I do believe that the Wynn governments approach will lead to more confusion rather than to the desired illumination of the subject matter. However the majority of the voters disagree with both our views. History has a way of dealing with the reality of our decisions. Did you study the fall of the Roman Empire?
Am I concerned about our public system being able meet this need? Yes. Do I feel that the Ontario Liberal Governments solution is flawed? Yes.
For clarification Pastor Tom when I made reference of the old testament being a grand story I was referring to the first twenty or so chapters in Genesis. The balance is agreed upon by scholars as being historical. You do know Pastor Tom that only John wrote his own gospel? The rest of the gospels were actually penned by the students of other apostles after their deaths.
David – your scholars are all full of hot air! Liberal theology based upon un-enlighten rationalism is all garbage – “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools”(Rom 1:21-22).
They are not my scholars Pastor Tom. These opinions and facts are the result of centuries of research by individuals and groups representing a wide cross section of humanity. Theologians, historians and believers looking for confirmation and skeptics looking for proof.
I am not trying to tell you what to believe in or how to interpret what you read or hear, that is yours. I, in all of this, have never shared my perspective(opinion) but rather have presented well researched and widely accepted facts and conclusions.
You can take Psalm 93:1, 96:10 or 1 Chronicles 16:30 literally if you want as well as Psalm 104:5 or Ecclesiastes 1:5 for that matter but you would join those that refuted Galileo”s proof of heliocentrism. You would be claiming something that was proven false some 500 hundred years ago.
I think what many miss is that those that wrote historical text in fact did not use toilet paper…..just saying….
You nailed it Jamie.
ADMIN they would then join a legion of others purported to have been full it as well. I am still waiting for Al Gore et al to be proven correct on any of their claims. History has a way of clarifying reality. If this statement was not a truism we would still be believing that the earth was flat.
or wiped it Furtz 😉
And don’t forget, David, the earth is six thousand years old.
That there’s funny. LOL
Furtz is that factoring in the leap years?
If it takes millions of years for the formation of oil to occur then I wonder how Pastor Tom addresses that scientific fact?
David proclaims -“…widely accepted facts and conclusions”. And God simply declares -“The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness”(Pro 15:14).
David, the world and everything in it was created in six twenty-four hour days about six thousand years ago by Mr. Newton’s god. That includes the oil and EVERYTHING. Nothing has evolved since that time, but for some unknown reason, talking snakes and dinosaurs died off. And science is the work of the devil, therefore there is no such thing as a scientific fact.
Right, Newton?
Furtz- “And science is the work of the devil, therefore there is no such thing as a scientific fact”. I have never sad that, nor do I believe that at all. You do not know much about my education background in science, math, and electronics, HVAC technician, mechanics, and what I taught in a Christian School in Ga, and in Homeschooling. Do you? Ask any of my children, and ask them if I am un-scientific? Or if I would ever say -“science is the work of the devil”.
But I do believe that science and rationalism (human reasoning) are not the final authorities or determiners of truth and reality. Science still can’t explain miracles, nor does it want to explain, in a reasonable fashion, the supernatural. Science use be called the Arts, now it is just another form of self worship – idolatry.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard” (Psa 19:1-3).

Furtz you will notice that Galileo is not on the list. He challenged the Christian bible and was proven correct which contradicted the interpretation.
For Pastor Tom the world will always be flat and the sun will move around the earth.
That crazy “young earth” site is quite a hoot, Newton. Did a bit of reading and had a good morning laugh. Do you really buy into that BS? So tell us, do you really believe that the world and everything in it was created in six twenty-four hour days about six thousand years ago by your god? And that nothing has evolved since then? A simple yes / no answer will suffice.
The inerrant, inspired, preserved Word of God declares -“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day”(Gen 1:31).
A simple yes / no question can’t be answered. Might as well be talking to my cat.
Is it a “Tom” cat?
No, it’s an overfed female cat. Way more intelligent than a Tom.
