CFN – An Ogdensburg woman about to graduate with a law enforcement degree challenged US Border Patrol officers after a random pull over.
After being belligerent and challenging the Federal agents after being pulled to wait for a K9 Unit for inspection she was subdued and tasered. The event was captured by her on video. LINK.
The 21 year old was screaming during the ordeal in spite of the agent’s calm and direct commands.
She was reported to have been taken to the Ogdensburg Customs location but has yet to be charged.
She reported various minor abrasions from her scuffle.
CFN has asked Ms Cook for an interview with no reply as of press time.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection is investigating a report from the U.S. Border Patrol’s Swanton Sector about an altercation between an individual and two Border Patrol agents at a checkpoint on Thursday, May 7. The altercation followed a brief verbal exchange between the individual and the two agents regarding their intent to inspect the vehicle.”

So refusing and unlawful detention and standing up for you rights is “being belligerent”?
The Supreme Court has already ruled that police are not allowed to detain a person longer than it takes to issue a citation for the sole purpose of bringing the dogs out.
Why are people always looking for confrontation? It never ceases to amaze me how people can complain after mouthing-off at the Border people……Wake Up and smell the coffee lady!

The officer was calm? Are you kidding me? This criminal agent is a hothead who shouldn’t be wearing a badge. He should be in prison. He instigated it by illegally pushing her when she was already far back from the vehicle inspection area.

If you mouth off at border control they can arrest you. A couple of years ago or less I went on the net and saw a man and his wife along with their baby and they were headed to Buffalo NY to shop. The US border agents asked them the names and addresses of the stores that they were going and they said that they didn’t know and were going to look around. This was a Canadian couple from Niagara Falls Ontario and people who don’t live over there will not know about those particulars. The man was mouthing off being beligerant and I don’t blame him because the crazy questions asked at the border is something else and when you come back to Canada the border guards are mighty ignorant and beligerant. The man was arrested along with his wife and baby. I would never cross the border ever and it will become soon where the borders will be closed to people because there is going to be a huge race war along with a global economic depression.
A lot of border guards are wannabe cops. And if you push it they’ll push back. They, basically, have to follow the same rules as police officers. Give a person a position or perceived position of authority and sometimes the power goes to their heads.

No it isn`t, but refusing to open your trunk at the request of a border guard and then mouthing off when the border guard starts questioning you on your intentions is. I`m sorry, but I have no pity for those who cry foul when they don`t follow the direction of a peace officer. Open your trunk, show you have nothing to hide and be on your merry way.
It was false arrest when they made her wait for a K9. This is according to a judicial decision a couple of weeks ago. She knew the law and stood up for it and the 2 CPF officers assaulted her for it. Then CPD made an illegal property search at her residence. A jury should agree. She will collect a handsome settlement paid by the taxpayers and the agents will not be punished in the justice system. All of this is contra to the bill of rights and the police state is at hand.
CBP/CPF/CPD? Are they all the same thing?
