BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Brandon Tessier, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on June 12th, 2015 and charged with breach of probation and undertaking for failing to keep the peace and breach of probation for attending a business that he has conditions not to attend. It is alleged on June 11th, 2015 the man attended a local business that he has conditions not to attend and police were contacted to investigate. On June 12th, 2015 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 12th, 2015 and charged with breaching her recognizance for not attending school and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the youth failed to attend school on several occasions during the month of June and police were contacted to investigate. On June 12th, 2015 the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON – Jordan Pharand, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on June 12th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation conditions and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 12th, 2015 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended Montreal as they had the man in custody on Cornwall’s warrant. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Deruchie, 41 of Cornwall was arrested on June 12th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking and probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 12th, 2015 the man attended a business on Second Street East and removed a quantity of meat making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the loss prevention officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON – Calvin Square, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2015 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged during an argument on June 13th, 2015 the man struck a 45-year-old man known to him in the leg with a baseball bat. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 31st, 2015.

IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED
(South Dundas) – On June 13, 2015 at approximately 2:56am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers on patrol came upon a tractor trailer unit partially in the ditch on Dundas Street, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Hichame ELAZZOUZI (25) of Quebec City, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Alcohol
– Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle with an Open Container of Alcohol (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 25, 2015.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(South Stormont) – On June 12, 2015 at approximately 6:58pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on French Avenue, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male and his ex-spouse resulted in the male threatening a male occupant at the home.
The 37-year-old male from South Stormont was arrested and is charged with;
– Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 7, 2015.
(North Dundas) – On June 14, 2015 at approximately 12:46am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Winchester Main Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a male and his girlfriend had taken place and that the male was in contravention of several conditions imposed from previous incidents.
The 35-year-old from North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (6 counts)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on July 7, 2015.
(North Glengarry) – On June 14, 2015 at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 21, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his spouse resulted in the female and another occupant in the home being threatened. The accused also caused damage within the home.
The 41-year-old male from North Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;
– Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm/Damage to Property (4 counts)
– Mischief Under $5000
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (shotgun)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (15Jun15).
The names of the accused persons in the above incidents are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.
MISCHIEF
(North Glengarry) – On June 12, 2015 at approximately 8:37am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a disturbance at a property on St-Paul Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between two adult males resulted in one causing damage to a door of the other’s residence.
Marc Vital CARRIERE (51) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5000
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on August 5, 2015.
ASSAULT
(South Dundas) – On June 14, 2015 at approximately 12:04am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of an assault at a residence on St-Lawrence Street, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female had assaulted a male at the home. The male was injured and taken to hospital.
Marlene HUTCHCROFT (53) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault with a Weapon (drinking glass)
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 4, 2015.
BREACH/MISCHIEF
(North Glengarry) – On June 12, 2015 at approximately 8:49pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Main Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female was in contravention of a condition imposed when she was a young person (under 18yrs). While in custody at the OPP Detachment, the accused also caused damage in the cell area.
The 18-year-old female from Cornwall, Ontario is charged with;
– Failure to Comply with Disposition (Youth Criminal Justice Act)
– Mischief Under $5000
She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on August 5, 2015. Her name is being withheld as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
DAMAGE TO MAILBOXES
(South Stormont) – On June 13, 2015 at approximately 2:48am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of mailboxes being damaged on Myers Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that a black pick-up truck had been observed in the area.
An investigation continues.

(BECKWITH TOWNSHIP, ON)- Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police Marine Unit charged a 19 year old man with Operating a vessel with over 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood on Saturday June 13th.
While launching the OPP Marine Vessel on Mississippi Lake, Officers were notified by other boaters of a boat with a large number of violations occurring as it toured the lake. The boat floated by a short time later and was waved over to the launch area where the operator was arrested. He provided breath samples double the legal limit. The 19 year old man from Beckwith Township has been charged, received a 90 license suspension and was released with a court date.

(Kemptville, ON.) – Between June 8th and June 14th, the Kemptville Office of North Grenville Ontario Provincial Police investigated 94 general occurrences: 36 Kemptville, 48 Municipality of North Grenville, 6 Village of Merrickville – Wolford and 4 on Highway 416.
On Friday June 5th, a gold ring was found at Riverside Park in Kemptville. The owner is asked to attend Kemptville OPP detachment with a description.
On June 11th, Police charged a 50 year old man from North Grenville and a 59 year old male also from North Grenville with failure to stop for a school bus. The incident occurred on County Road 43 at the Montessori School bus stop.
Shortly before midnight on June 11th, a black Dodge was observed driving erratically in the Colonnade Road parking lot in Kemptville. The driver failed to stop for police and was eventually arrested for impaired driving and flight from police. John Ryan Blaszczyk age 26 of Ottawa was charged with failing to surrender an insurance card, failing to surrender a motor vehicle permit, failing to properly wear a seat belt, flight while being pursued by a peace officer, driving while under suspension, impaired driving and driving a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol. The accused is scheduled to appear in Kemptville Court on July 8th, 2015.
On June 12th, around 6:00 pm police received a traffic complaint involving a Honda Civic. Police located the vehicle parked and a male in the driver’s seat at the Colonnade Road parking lot in Kemptville. The male registered a “fail” on the roadside screening device and was arrested for care and control of a motor vehicle with an alcohol level over 80 mgs and was transported to Kemptville OPP for an intoxilyzer test. Eric Tremblay-Gagne, age 30 of Rigaud, Quebec was charged with care and control of a motor vehicle with an alcohol level over 80 mgs and care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired. The accused is scheduled to appear in Kemptville Court on July 8th, 2015.

(RUSSELL COUNTY, ON) In the week of June 8, 2015 to June 15, 2015, Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 245 occurrences. Among those occurrences OPP responded to 10 collisions, 4 thefts and 10 domestics.
As a result of those occurrences, 36 people were charged with various offences.
Mischief
(Bourget, ON) On June 9, 2015 OPP Constables responded to domestic related incident on St-Felix Road in Bourget. At that location an intoxicated male was involved in a dispute with his partner. At one point the male assaulted the female, made threats towards her and damaged some property.
A 45 year old male, from Bourget will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 8, 2015 to answer to the following charges:

(Embrun, ON) On June 12, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Notre-Dame Street in Embrun. At that location a male and female were involved in an argument. The male who had been drinking assaulted the female and damaged some items in the house.
A 39 year old male, from Embrun will be appearing for his bail hearing today June 15, 2015 to answer to the following charges:

(Russell, ON) On June 12, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Birch Crescent in Russell. At that location a couple returned home after an outing with friends. Once at the residence an argument started and the female was assaulted and some property was damaged.

(Casselman, ON) On June 14, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Principale Street in Casselman. At that location a male and female were involved in a custody dispute. While investigating this matter the officers were informed of an assault incident where the female was the victim.

Cornwall, ON – Jacob McDonald, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2015 and charged with property obtained by crime, breach of undertaking for not following house rules and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged Investigation into a property call revealed during the week of June 7th, 2015 flower pots had been removed from a Montreal Road address. During the police investigation it was also learned that the man allegedly responsible for the flower pots also failed to abide by house rules. He was located at his residence, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jesse Whitford, 18 of no fixed address was arrested on June 14th, 2015 and charged with the following:
- Assault with a weapon
- Personation
- Weapons dangerous
- Pointing a firearm
- Carry concealed weapon
It is alleged on June 14th, 2015 at approximately 2:00pm while walking in the area of Cumberland Street and Fourth Street the man pointed a firearm at citizens and police were contacted. With guns drawn police intercepted the man in the area and took him into custody. Once in custody a gun was recovered and found to be a BB gun. During their investigation the man falsely identified himself and was charged accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Ahmed El Karim, 33 of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 14th, 2015 the man selected a quantity of meat and cheese at a Brookdale Avenue store and made no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 23rd, 2015.
