THREATS, FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT, SEXUAL ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Paul Struthers, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on July 16th, 2015 and charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and threats to life. It is alleged between July 2nd and July 9th, 2015 the man sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman known to him, threatened her and prevented her from leaving her apartment. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 16th, 2015 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 16th, 2015 and charged with breaching his recognizance for communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with and for being within 20 meters of where that person lives. It is alleged the man left written messages at an address that he is not permitted to attend and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the man was located at his residence, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
