SEXUAL ASSAULT
Cornwall ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 20th, 2015 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged between 2012 and 2015 the man sexually assaulted his now 7-year-old sister and police were contacted to investigate. On July 20th, 2015 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Kullen Taggart, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on July 20th, 2015 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 20th, 2015 the man attended the Cornwall Public Library and punched a 27-year-old man known to him in the head. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was located on Lefebvre Street, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 20th, 2015.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 21st, 2015 and charged with breaching two probation orders for having consumed alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in the early morning hours of July 21st, 2015 police disrupted an altercation in the 600 block of Pitt Street and found the youth to be breaching his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
