PROJECT PARADIGM Lands More Drug Busts in Lanark County – SEPT 8, 2015 OPP

PROJECT PARADIGM IS A DRUG ENFORCEMENT TEAM COMPRISED OF OFFICERS FROM THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT AND OPP DETACHMENTS IN EASTERN ONTARIO

(Perth, Ontario) – On Thursday September 3rd, 2015 the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit (East), OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Regional Support Team, conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) investigation and which resulted in a vehicle stop on Church Street, Perth, Ontario.

Police located and seized quantities of:

  • Heroin
  • Crystal Methamphetamine
  • Cocaine
  • hydromorphone capsules (Hydromorph Contin)
  • Drug trafficking items, including packaging and scales

Jody MOREAU (44), of Perth (ON) was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance X 4 (Heroin, cocaine, Methamphetamine and Hydromorph Contin). He was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on October 26th, 2015.

Chase NAGLE (30) of Tay Valley Township (ON), was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance X 4 (Heroin, cocaine, Methamphetamine and Hydromorph Contin). He was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on October 26th, 2015.

Matthew BULLOCH (28) of Perth (ON) was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance X 4 (Heroin, cocaine, Methamphetamine and Hydromorph Contin). He was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on October 26th, 2015.

Savannah BOWES (31) of Perth (ON) was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance X 4 (Heroin, cocaine, Methamphetamine and Hydromorph Contin). He was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on October 26th, 2015.

PROJECT PARADIGM IS A DRUG ENFORCEMENT TEAM COMPRISED OF OFFICERS FROM THE ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT AND OPP DETACHMENTS IN EASTERN ONTARIO

(Lanark Highlands, Ontario) – On Monday August 31st, 2015, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by members of Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) Search Warrant which led to the arrest of 2 men of the Township of Lanark Highlands.

During the investigation the following items were seized:

  • Quantities of cannabis marihuana, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), and cocaine.
  • 11 firearms (1 loaded)
  • Two high capacity firearm magazines
  • 9 cannabis marihuana plants

Douglas SCHONAUER (37) of Lanark Highlands Township (ON) is charged with;

  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance over 30 grams –Cannabis Marihuana
  • Possession of a Schedule III Substance- Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
  • Production of a Schedule II Substance-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device-High Capacity Magazine

David SCHONAUER (68) of Lanark Highlands Township (ON) is charged with:

  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance over 30 grams –Cannabis Marihuana
  • Possession of a Schedule III Substance- Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
  • Production of a Schedule II Substance-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device-High Capacity Magazine

Both were released from custody, and are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth, October 19th, 2015.
