MISCHIEF OVER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Three Cornwall youths were arrested on October 23rd, 2015 and charged with mischief over $5000. It is alleged the three youth aged12, 13 and 17 were responsible for spray painting exterior school walls on several occasions and a car between October 21st and 23rd, 2015. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 23rd, 2015 the three youths were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Their names were not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
CARE AND CONTROL, OVER 80, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jamie Derouchie, 36 of Maxville was arrested on October 24th, 2015 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle, over 80, breach of recognizance for being out past curfew and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 24th, 2015 the man was in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Second Street West and Hoople Avenue. He was taken into custody during an investigation, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Michael Buckshot, 42 of Akwesasne was arrested on October 24th, 2015 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 24th, 2015 the man was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when he was stopped at the port of entry. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
Cornwall, ON – Benjamin McCleery, 22 of Smith Falls was arrested on October 25th, 2015 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when it struck a parked car in the area of Second Street West and Danis Street. Police were contacted, took the man into custody, charged him accordingly and released him to appear in court on November 3rd, 2015.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Denis Ratt, 42 of Valseneville, Quebec was arrested on October 25th, 2015 and charged with breaching his recognizance for being outside the province of Quebec. It is alleged on October 25th, 2015 the man was found to be in breach of his recognizance when he attended the port of entry. Police were contacted, took the man into custody, charged him accordingly and held him for a bail hearing.

(Kemptville, ON.) – Between October 19th and October 25th, the Kemptville Office of North Grenville Ontario Provincial Police investigated 87 general occurrences: 26 Kemptville, 38 Municipality of North Grenville, 19 Village of Merrickville – Wolford and 4 on Highway 416.On October 22nd, police received a report that a storage facility on County Road 16, Wolford had been entered. The culprit(s) stole an assortment of car parts. The investigation is ongoing.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on October 24th, police received a traffic complaint involving a 2002 Honda Civic travelling west on County Road 43, North Grenville. The vehicle was stopped and the driver registered a “fail” on the roadside screening device. The driver was arrested and transported to Kemptville OPP detachment for an intoxilyzer test. Kara FREEMAN, age 34 of North Grenville was charged with speeding and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol.

(Kemptville, ON.) – Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit has charged two local males with child pornography related charges.
On October 9th, police received a report of a 16 year old male showing a video of a 14 year old male and a 14 year old female engaged in a sexual act.
As a result of the investigation, the 14 year old and 16 year old males both from North Grenville are charged with production of child pornography and voyeurism.
BREAK IN
(South Stormont) – On October 22, 2015 at approximately 7:10am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded a report break-in at a Business on Richmond Road, South Stormont Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime overnight October 21-22, 2015 culprit(s) forcibly entered the business and removed a quantity of tools and a diesel fuel tank.
An investigation continues.
