ARMED ROBBERY
(North Dundas) – On November 13, 2015 at approximately 10:03am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the assistance of OPP Canine Unit and SD&G Crime Unit, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Bank of Montreal in the Village of Winchester, North Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated a lone male entered the bank indicating he had a weapon (none observed) and demanded cash. The Suspect fled on foot east of the scene with a quantity of Canadian Currency.
No injuries resulted.
The suspect is described as follows;
Male, 5’11”, medium build, dark complexion, wearing black pants, grey, white and black (horizontal stripe) hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, covering a red coloured baseball hat, and black “neck wrap” pulled up over his face.
An Investigation continues.
