WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Jesse Dufresne, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged he failed to abide by his probation conditions and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 25th, 2016 the man was located at a Seventh Street East address, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Johnathan Wilkinson, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2016 and charged with threats. It is alleged on January 12th, 2016 the man threatened to harm a 20-year-old woman known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On January 25th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
THEFT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Brandon Tessier, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000 and three counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 16th, 2016 the man attended a Ninth Street East store and removed merchandise making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 25th, 2016 the man was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service in the area of Third Street and Pitt Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 1st, 2016.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Rocky Richmire, 56 of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2016 and charged with criminal harassment, breach of recognizance for attending a location he has conditions to avoid and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 25th, 2016 the man attended a location he is bound by conditions not to attend and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation it was learned that between January, 2015 and January, 2016 the man had breached his conditions on several occasions creating opportunity for contact with a person that he has conditions not to make contact with. He was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
