ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 25^th, 2016 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged during an argument on February 25^th, 2016 the woman made a gesture with a knife towards her 27-year-old ex-boyfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 5^th, 2016. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on February 25^th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the youth breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held in custody. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Allikas, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on February 25^th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged a warrant was issued for the arrest of the man after he failed to attend for court and prints. On February 25^th, 2016 the man was located walking on Yates Avenue. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court at a later date.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Ouellette, 61 of Cornwall was arrested on February 25^th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for having consumed alcohol. It is alleged on February 25^th, 2016 police attended a Ninth Street residence for a disturbance. Once on scene they took the intoxicated man into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jimmy Paradalis, 36 of Bois Des Filion, QC was arrested on February 26^th, 2016 and charged with breach of probation for being in possession of tools used to pump oil and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was found to be in breach of his conditions during a traffic stop in the early morning hours of February 26^th, 2016. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
