Historical Buggery Charges Laid in South Glengarry by SD&G #OPP March 15, 2016

CHARGES LAID – HISTORICAL ASSAULTS

(South Glengarry) – As a result of a domestic assault investigation conducted by members of the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police, assisted by the SD&G OPP Crime Unit, an 81yr old male resident of South Glengarry has been charged in relation to incidents that occurred between1963-1967 against victims known to him.

He is charged with:

– Assault ( 13 Counts)

– Assault Cause Bodily Harm ( 6 counts)

– Assault with a Weapon

– Indecent Assault ( 3 Counts)

– Buggery

– Mischief Under $5000

– Uttering Threats ( 2 Counts)

– Point Firearm without Lawful Excuse

He was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Cornwall on April 26, 2016.

The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victims.
