PRODUCTION OF MARIJUANA, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING
Cornwall, ON – Chris Dupuis, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on May 4th, 2016 and charged with the following:
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of cannabis resin
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking marijuana
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking cannabis resin
- Production of marijuana
- Production of cannabis resin
- Property obtained by crime ( cash)
It is alleged on May 4th, 2016 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a drug warrant at Fourth Street West address and located a quantity of marijuana, marijuana plants, cannabis resin and Canadian currency. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH, WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Dawn Lapensee, 32 of Cornwall was arrested on May 4th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking and probation for failing to keep the peace. She was also taken into custody on outstanding warrants. It is alleged on May 4th, 2016 the woman removed merchandise from a Ninth Street store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. She was stopped by the Loss Prevention officer and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
Five or more plants – 3 years, close to a school – add a year, – on rented premises – add a year…indictable offence, jury trial. Maybe time to pay attention to the prohibition laws.
