ASSAULT
(South Glengarry) – On September 26, 2016 at approximately 2:31pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of an assault incident which had occurred at a business property on Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between a female and male youth resulted in the male being assaulted.
The 15-year-old female from Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 27, 2016. Her name is being withheld as per conditions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER
(South Dundas) – On September 27, 2016 at approximately 12:53am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a mischief incident at a residence on County Road 31, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that a male had broken a window and left the area. The suspect was intercepted by officers and provided false identification to police. Upon his arrest, a quantity of suspected marihuana was also seized.
David MACNABB (32) of North Dundas Township is charged with;
– Obstruct Peace Officer
– Mischief Under $5000
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (5 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
