Shooting on Caldwell Avenue
(Ottawa) — On Friday, October 28th, 2016, at 19:30 hours, members of the Ottawa Police Service responded to a call for service at 1485 Caldwell Avenue in the city’s west end regarding a male bleeding from the stomach, possibly shot.
Attending Officers located the victim, a 23 year old male resident of Ottawa, with an injury to his abdomen. He was assessed by Paramedics and transported to the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for Emergency treatment. At the time of this communication, he is listed in Stable Condition.
The circumstances around this incident are under investigation by the OPS Guns & Gangs Unit. No further information will be released at this time.
