BREACH OF CONDITIONS-DRUGS SEIZED
(North Stormont) – On November 9, 2016 at approximately 6:56am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at a property on Campbell Road, North Stormont Township. A check of the male revealed he was in contravention of several conditions stemming from previous incidents. Upon his arrest, quantities of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine were seized.
Christopher MAILHOT-LAFONTAINE (20) of Montreal, Quebec is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance/Undertaking (12 counts)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
DISQUALIFIED DRIVER
(South Dundas) – On November 9, 2016 at approximately 4:59pm, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. A check of the adult male driver indicated that his driving privileges were disqualified stemming from a previous incident.
Brian ROBERTS (49) of Prescott, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive While Disqualified
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 6, 2016.
