DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Glengarry) – On November 29, 2016 at approximately 9:48pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Hay Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his common-law spouse resulted in the female being assaulted.
The 48-year-old male was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault-Spousal
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 13, 2016. His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
BREAK-IN
(South Glengarry) – Overnight (November 27-28, 2016), a residence located on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township was forcibly entered. Inside, a blue air compressor with a 100’ hose attached and a “Rigid” construction radio were stolen.
An investigation continues.
