Habs Buy Time for Bergevin – Run Up Score on Avs by Jamie Gilcig DEC 11, 2016

Cornwall Ontario – I don’t know, but I could’ve sworn running up the score in pro sports was considered pretty skanky, but this season we’ve seen at least two games involving the Habs have scores of 10 goals.

Last night Montreal Captain Max Pacioretty padded his stats notched four goals as les boys not only humbled Colorado, but bought some much needed time for GM Marc Bergevin who has seen his team lose top centre and point getter Alex Galchenyuk and David Desharnais to injury for what could be up to two months.

Montreal is now alone at the top of the NHL with 41 points.   The Habs are into home cooking with a record of 14-1-1 at the Bell Centre.

Pacioretty (8), Weber (7), and Jeff Petry (5),  were the only Habs to be “In the Game ™”

Next up for Montreal are the hot Boston Bruins!

What do you think dear CFN viewers? Do the Habs need to make a move and bring in another centre while Galchenyuk and Desharnais are injured?  You can post your comments below.
