(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) in Leeds County have responded to thefts of maple syrup equipment and are looking for the public’s assistance.
Over the period of the 29th and 30th of March 2017 officers were called to three separate theft calls on Kitley Line 3 in Elizabethtown – Kitley Township. On each occasion buckets, lines, and taps were stolen from trees close to the road. At each location it appeared as though sap would have been taken as well as the buckets.
