RECOVERED STOLEN FERRET
(North Glengarry) – On May 11, 2017 at approximately 6:52pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to an incident where a ferret was reported stolen from a pet store on Massie Crescent in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that the animal had been taken by an adult male while in the store.
Matthew MACDONALD (29) of Alexandria, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Theft Under $5000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Fail to Comply With Probation Order
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. The pet was recovered and returned to the store.
