Cornwall Ontario – Christopher Leclair shared his simple message of grief on social media after the discovery of a car on Second Street West near Saunders Road in Cornwall Thursday.
Several CFN viewers alerted us to the message and we reached out to Christopher who confirmed that his “Uncle Chuck” was the person discovered in the car.
All I’m going to say is he was the best uncle I had. I played hockey went to games with him and played sports with him. We also went out together and just hung out and recently got me in to pick up hockey. I also volunteered with him at habitat humanity for a year when he was the events manager.
And he was always there when I needed anything
He added:
He was sick and had mental illness. He refused to take medication he got a couple of months ago/ that’s all I can say right now.
We will update this story as more information becomes available. CFN also wishes to offer our sincere condolences to Mr. Leclair’s family.
We will not be allowing any comments on this story on CFN.
