BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old Cornwall man and a 26-year-old Cornwall woman were arrested on June 1st, 2017 and charged with breach of their conditions for communicating with each other. It is alleged on June 1st, 2017 the couple were seen walking together despite their conditions. They were taken into custody by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Their names were not released as the conditions stem from domestic incidents and would identify them as being victims.
ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Brandon Lavigne, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on June 1st, 2017 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 16th, 2017 Lavigne grabbed a man known to him by the throat and pushed him to the ground. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 1st, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 6th, 2017.
