SD&G #OPP Round Up for Friday June 23, 2017

Assault -Update

(North Dundas) – On June 21, 2017 at approximately 6:55pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to report of an altercation on Mill Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that a male youth had assaulted and threatened an adult male. The male youth was also in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.

Further investigation revealed that another male was involved in the altercation and had assaulted the victim as well.

 

On June 22, 2017 – Dustin McFaul (20) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

–          Aggravated assault

 

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 01, 2017.                                                       

 

 

MISCHIEF

(South Dundas)- On June 22, 2017 at approximately 1:04 am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a neighbour dispute at a residence on Sir James Morris Drive in South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his neighbour had occurred. The male caused damage to the neighbour’s property and threatened the victim.

 

Dillon SHAVER (24) from Morrisburg, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

 

–          Mischief

–          Uttering Threats

The male was held in custody (Bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

 

 

BREAK IN

 

(North Stormont) – On June 22, 2017 at approximately 10:17am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded a reported break-in at a barn/shed on County Road 22, North Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight on June 21-22, 2017 culprit(s) forcibly entered a barn and removed various tools.

An investigation continues.

 

 

BREAK-IN

 

(North Glengarry) – On June 22, 2017 at approximately 11:36am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a reported break-in at a barn/shed on Kenyon Concession Road, North Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight on June 21-22, 2017 culprit(s) forcibly entered a garage and removed various tools (Lincoln Welder and Dewalt Saw).

An investigation continues.
