(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police have completed an investigation into a collision on County Road 2.
On the 10th of February 2017 at about 2:10 P.M. officers from the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to a collision on County Road 2 in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township.
A westbound car driven by 58 year old Ronald BOLTON of Cornwall and an eastbound pickup truck driven by 59 year old Maria GLENN of Gananoque collided on County Road 2. Bolton succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His 85 year old passenger, Wilfred BOLTON of the Frontenac Islands was transported to hospital in Kingston where he succumbed to his injuries.
GLENN was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Careless Driving and has a scheduled court appearance in Provincial Offences Court, Brockville.
