(South Stormont) On July 6 2017, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and SD&G OPP executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Search Warrant on a residence on Rombough Road, South Stormont. This resulted in the seizure of, a quantity of Cocaine, hydromoph pills, Percocet pills, a crossbow with arrows, and Canadian currency seized.
Charles COLLINS (52) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking ( 4 counts)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
– Possession of Property obtained by crime
Michael COLLINS (22) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking ( 4 counts)
– Possession of Property obtained by crime
Candice BILLINGS-SUMMERS (27) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking ( 4 counts)
– Possession of Property obtained by crime
– Causing a Disturbance
All three were released scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on 17th of August 2017.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(South Dundas) – On July 4, 2017 at approximately 4:18pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to report of a disturbance at a residence on Prunner Road, South Dundas Township. An Investigation indicated that a male youth had been in possession of a weapon and had stolen items from the complainant. The youth was therefore in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
On July 6th 2017, a 16-year-old was arrested and is charged with;
-Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
– Fail to Comply Recognizance (2 counts – Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA)
– Trespassing at Night
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. His name is being withheld in accordance to the provisions of the YCJA.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Stormont)- On July 4, 2017 at approximately 11:32 am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female had been harassing her ex-boyfriend.
An adult female (22) from Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Harassing Communications
The female was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 8th 2017. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
