OTTAWA OPP INVESTIGATING FATAL COLLISION HWY 417.
(OTTAWA, ON) – Officers from the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted by OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are investigating a fatal, single motor vehicle collision on Highway 417 (East) between Cyrville Road and Innes Road.
Officers were called to the scene at 09:47am on Sunday August 13.
Highway 417 East is closed at the scene and diversions are in place.
Eastbound traffic is diverted at Highway 174.
The investigation is active and ongoing.

(OTTAWA, ON) – Officers from the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted by OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) continue to investigate a fatal, single motor vehicle collision on Highway 417 (East) between Cyrville Road and Innes Road.
Officers were called to the scene at 09:47am on Sunday August 13, where a motorcycle had collided with a guard rail.
The driver of the motorcycle, Pascal MOREAU (49 years) of the City of Gatineau sustained fatal injuries.
Highway 417 East is closed at the scene and diversions are in place.
Eastbound traffic is diverted at Highway 174.
