DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(NORTH STORMONT,ON) – On October 30, 2017 at approximately 9:02am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a male and his girlfriend. The Investigation revealed that the male had assaulted the female. Further investigation revealed multiple offences against the victim on previous occasions.
A 35-year-old male from North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault ( 4 counts)
– Uttering Threats ( 3 Counts)
– fail to Comply with probation (10 counts)
– Forcible Confinement
– Criminal harassment
– Mischief ( 2 counts)
– Sexual Assault ( 2 counts)
– Aggravated Sexual Assault
– Assault with a Weapon
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall
His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING COLLISION
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On October 31, 2017 at approximately 6:05pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to 2 vehicle collision on County Road 13, North Dundas Township involving two passenger vehicles.
Both drivers sustained no injuries.
The investigation revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol. The investigation also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana from the female.
Hayley ARTHURS (33) of North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
– Possession of a controlled Substance
The male driver of the other passenger vehicle also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
Kyle SHANE (25) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a controlled Substance
Arthurs was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on November 11, 2017.
Shane was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 5, 2017.
