(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped an impaired driver after an investigation.
On the November 10, 2017 at about 4:00 AM Leeds O.P.P officers were conducting patrol on Highway 401 in Front of Yonge Township when a westbound vehicle was observed driving 92 km/hr over the speed limit. Investigation revealed that the driver was suspended and impaired by alcohol.
30 year old Denis LAPENSEE of Ottawa, Ontario is scheduled to answer to an Impaired Driving, Driving with Over 80 Mgs of Alcohol in his Blood, and a Dangerous Driving charge at the Ontario Court of Justice – Provincial Division, Brockville on December 15, 2017. Further charges of Stunt Driving and Suspended Driving are scheduled to be heard at a later date in Provincial Offences Court, Brockville.
