Smiths Falls Man Charged After Single Vehicle Collision & Airlift to Hospital 112917

(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into a collision that occurred in Elizabethtown – Kitley Township.

On November 18, 2017 at about 6:20 AM OPP were advised of a collision that had occurred on County Road 29 in Tincap. A 2005 Ford Focus was northbound on County Road 29 south of Kilkenny Road when the driver crossed the southbound lane, struck a driveway embankment, and rolled into the west ditch.



39 year old Ryan SEGUIN of Smiths Falls was airlifted to hospital in Ottawa with serious non-life threatening injuries. He has been charged with Impaired Driving and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice – Provincial Division, Brockville on December 8, 2017 to answer to his charge.

County Road 29 remained closed in both directions for several hours to allow for the investigation.
